Due to a truly overwhelming response at the launch of the tickets yesterday, the DramFest main event is now sold out. We have been completely overwhelmed at your enthusiasm and support for the event, though we understand that some of you may have missed out on tickets.

DramFest Main Event - Weekend $135

Your ticket to DramFest 2020 includes:

  • Entry to the DramFest Main Event on the 7th and/or 8th of March 2020 from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Please note that the first drams will not be poured until after the opening ceremony at 1.30pm

  • A DramFest 2020 Glencairn Whisky Nosing Glass, lanyard, pen and offical event programme

  • A range of complimentary drams are available at each stand during the Main Event

  • Access to the DramFest Forums and viewing of the Glenfarclas 105 cocktail competition

The DramFest Main Event is New Zealand's largest whisky education and tasting festival and takes place over two days at the Christchurch Town Hall from 1pm-6pm on the 7th & 8th of March 2020.

2020's main event will be home to over 60 exhibitors representing distilleries, producers and independent bottlers from Scotland, Japan, Ireland and around the whisky world.

Over 300 different single malt, blended and other whiskies will be available to try, along with some visiting Rum available as a 'guest spirit'.

DramFest is a unique opportunity to meet with overseas and local whisky experts including distillers, owners and brand ambassadors attending the event - these visiting experts are for many the highlight of the event, offering the chance to interact with those who are directly involved with the creation, selection and promotion of some of the whiskies on offer.

DramFest Sessions & The Top Shelf

The ever-popular DramFest sessions will return once again for 2020 - these unique, in-depth tastings are hosted by international and local whisky experts. Tickets for these sessions will be made available for purchase in mid-January 2020. Please note that in order to attend a DramFest session you will require a ticket for the main event.
